Where Do My FFG Foundation Donations Go?

Chartered in 1996, the Nu Skin Force For Good Foundation annually grants more than $1 million to projects to improve the lives of children by offering hope for a life free from disease, illiteracy and poverty. Since Nu Skin covers all administrative and overhead costs, 100 percent of donations go directly toward humanitarian and charitable causes.

Through consultation with local leaders and non-profit organizations, the Foundation has identified several important projects that Nu Skin distributors and employees can help support through directed donations, including:  

Road to Mtalimanja Village

Your donation will provide the means necessary to improve the quality of the road to Mtalimanja Village.  Placing gravel on this 10.5 mile road will reduce travel time by at least 80 percent and allow more time in the village to learn agricultural skills. 

Mtalimanja Village and Supplies

More than 90 percent of the Malawian population consists of farmers who depend on water to irrigate their crops. Yet, the majority of these farmers depend on rain water for irrigation, making them ill equipped to deal with the common drought conditions found in the sub-Sahara nation. Your donation will provide a farmer with a pump and other supplies that they can use to more effectively irrigate their crops. Other things your donation will provide include educational materials for the library, purchasing a mini bus to help transport students and other equipment, and a donation towards a much needed sewer system.

Educate the Children Scholarship Program

In Malawi, students who want to continue their education past primary school must pay for it themselves. Unfortunately, most do not have the means to pay for their education. In fact, only 25 percent of the Malawian population is able to attend secondary school. Your donation will profoundly affect the life of a young person who has the ambition to continue their education, but lacks the funds to do so.

China Children’s Heart Fund

China Children’s Heart Fund was created in late 2008 to address the more than 140,000 new cases of children suffering from congenital heart disease each year in China, as well as the 2 million children who are awaiting surgery.  Your donation will provide the means necessary for a child to receive heart surgery who would otherwise not be able to.

Southeast Asia Children’s Heart Fund

The Southeast Asia Children's Heart Fund has combined Foundation grants to fund corrective heart surgery for underprivileged children with congenital heart disease.  Your donation will help save the life of a child.

Epidermolysis Bullosa

EB is a family of skin disorders that range in severity from mild to fatal and painfully affects as many as 100,000 children and young adults in the United States alone. Children with EB develop painful blisters and wounds on their skin from nearly any type of contact. This severely limits daily activity and requires extensive bandaging.  Your donation will help find a cure to this devastating disease by providing fund to the Epidermolysis Bullosa Medical Research Foundation (EBMRF).  EBMRF is committed to finding a cure for EB through its partnership with Stanford University School of Medicine's Department of Dermatology.

Seacology

In 1996, the Nu Skin Force for Good Foundation established a partnership with Seacology to help protect fragile island environments for indigenous people. Seacology operates in a unique manner by brokering directly with island communities to protect their environment. The community members themselves carry out the projects, thus defending their natural surroundings.  Your donation will help support Seacology’s key island conservation projects.
